About ATP

The Alone Together Project (ATP) is a cause dedicated to improving access to mental health care and bettering mental health education. We want to de-stigmatize mental illness and show people that they aren't alone. We want to offer people someone to talk to in their times of need, a place where they can be themselves.

This website is home to information about many mental illnesses and also information about gender and sexuality. We know that there are some questions that are difficult to ask and we'd like to help you get the answers. Just pick any page to start learning more about a mental illness of your choice.

ATP also hosts a forum, where you can vent, ask for advice, or simply put your thoughts out there. Self expression is important, especially as a teenager and we wanted to provide everyone with a place to share their thoughts. The ATP Community Forum is your space; make a new friend, give some advice, just be yourself.

Mostly, ATP is all about solidarity. Struggling with mental illness can be lonely and some of you feel more comfortable behind a screen. That's okay. Chat with someone about how you feel or just read more about something specific. But if you want to talk, there is someone to listen here at the Alone Together Project.
